Woke up 0650, trying to beat the heat. The ground under my mat is really warm. Ready to roll at 0745. Scorpion in the shower; turned on the water, it ran away from the water. I noticed the scorpion only seconds before stepping into the shower with nothing but my sandals on. After watching it scurry this way and that for the better part of a minute, I stomped on it. Look, I needed a shower free from the threat of being stung by a scorpion.

I crossed into New Mexico at noon, Central Time. I have no idea what time zone I'm actually in. That's no excuse, but it didn't keep me from having two corn dogs for lunch.
I made it into Albuquerque at 2:20, and met up with Chad, Robbie, and McG. We went hiking for four hours along Sandia Crest in La Luz, NM.

Ok, enough exercise. Let's get dinner. |
We ate at Garduño’s, I had a chimichanga and margarita. Then we saw the movie “Signs”.
