SEA Semester Voyage Summary
In 1996, I was fortunate to participate in a truly life-changing adventure with SEA Semester aboard the R/V Westward.

Our voyage ran from March 22 to May 1, 1996 and took us around the Caribbean. Here are my journal entries during our time at sea:
- March 23: 2nd day out, leaving Tampa Bay
- March 25: 4th day out, somewhere in the Gulf Loop Current
- March 27: Stymied in the Florida Straits, north of Cuba
- March 28: The Florida Straits, rounding Florida
- March 31: Leaving Bimini, Bahamas
- April 3: Somewhere in northern Bahamian Waters
- April 6: In port at Rum Cay, Bahamas
- April 10: Hogsty Reef, Bahamas
- April 18: At anchor, Little Cayman
- April 19: Sailing from Little Cayman to Grand Cayman
- April 20: Alongside in Grand Cayman
- April 21: South of Cuba, heading into the Yucatan Straits
- April 22: Yucatan Straits
- April 24: Rounding the eastern edge of Cuba
- April 26: North of Cuba, sailing for the Dry Tortugas
- May 1: Key West Airport
