Not the way to start a cruise.
So, this week I was kind of overwhelmed with finishing a term paper before we go on a cruise. So much so that I basically dropped the ball on figuring out the best way to get from our home in Germany to Amsterdam. There are planes and trains, but because I procrastinated, we're taking the automobile.
Amsterdam is not a city for cars, and less so for long term parking. After dropping Kacey at the terminal, I drove all over the city trying to find any sort of long-term parking facility. They all had some sort of ticket for overnight parking without a permit, so I ended up parking near the terminal. Since we're gone for 10 days, this parking fee is probably going to be the largest one I've ever paid. Related Links:
