Manderscheid Medieval Burgenfest

Under the shadow of two castles (Niederburg and Oberburg) we watched a jousting tournament while all around us fire-eaters, jugglers, jesters, storytellers musical concerts did their thing.

 In addition to food and games, there was also an artisan market demonstrating many trades and skills from the era. And I thought that these type of things only happened in the US.
