Like the Deserts Miss the Rain

What happens when a city that doesn't get much rain during the year gets hit by a rainstorm? Flooding - because there isn't a functional storm water system. This is probably not what you think of when you picture Saudi Arabia, is it?
Highway access roads up to the bumpers.
Yeah, this seems safe.
What you can't see are the pot holes.
Water is up to mid-thigh.
Let's hope the door gaskets hold up until the water recedes.
The rains like this usually appear in November, so remember to pack your waders.
